Parliament will continue its work at least until June 10-13, said parliament president Nikos Voutsis on Tuesday.

The date he cited is when Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is expected to ask the Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos for the dissolution of parliament and the official announcement of general elections. The government spokesman has said July 7 is the expected date.

Voutsis added that parliament will be open even if no new draft legislation is submitted.
