An electoral campaign debate between political party leaders will be televised live on Monday, July 1, the Interparty Committee on General Elections said on Tuesday.

The committee was chaired by caretaker Interior Minister Antonis Roupakiotis, and party representatives expressed the unanimous request of not including far-right Golden Dawn party in the debate.

The date falls on the last Monday before general elections on July 7, a Sunday. The debate will include all sectors of public life.

Greece's National Radio and Television Council will decide on the time allotted to parties for campaign advertisements in both public and privately-owned radio and TV stations, according to the Interparty decisions, while parties will need to come to agreement about online exposure time.
