Greece not on the agenda of Nov. 7 Eurogroup meeting

Newsroom

The latest enhanced surveillance report on Greece by the institutions will not be ready by Thursday's Eurogroup, a European official said on Tuesday, but is expected to be completed by the end of November.

It will then be presented in the Eurogroup scheduled on December 4, and the decision on whether European central banks should return their Greek bond profits to Greece will be made in the new year's Eurogroup.

November 7's Eurogroup will include issues on the strengthening of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) and the European Commission's fall economic outlook, the revisions in the ESM Treaty, the European deposit guarantee and the Eurozone's budget. The meeting will take place in Brussels at 16.00 Athens time.
