Woman dies after falling onto ISAP train tracks in Moschato

A woman killed herself on Thursday by jumping into the tracks of the ISAP electric railway (line one of the metro system) at Moschato station.
The passenger that was killed when she fell off the platform was a teenage girl aged 14, police sources said on Thursday. The incident occurred under circumstances that have yet to be clarified at 15:00 on Thursday afternoon.
According to eye-witness accounts, the girl was waiting on the platform waiting for the train with the rest of the passengers when she suddenly fell onto the tracks.
Police and fire brigade forces are now attempting to remove the 14-year-old’s body from the tracks, while ISAP electric railway trains (line one of the Athens metro) are only running from Piraeus to Faliro station and from Tavros to Kifissia.
