Kikilias visiting Thessaloniki; to ask for further measures
NewsroomHealth Minister Vassilis Kikilias will make a recommendation to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to take additional measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus, during his visit to the AHEPA hospital, Thessaloniki. Speaking to reporters on Monday, the health minister stated that he will support hospitals and their staff as well as the national system, while at the same time he blamed those who endanger the life and health of everyone.
"The government rang a lot of alarm bells early, but some did not listen. We owe it to ourselves at this time to limit the spread of the coronavirus and to protect public health. That is why I will suggest to the prime minister to take further measures in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus," Kikilias stressed, without specifying what these measures will be.
