Tsipras: We ask from the citizens to judge, compare and decide on the country future
NewsroomPrime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Saturday evening referred to his party programme ahead of the general elections that will be held on July 7 from the island of Tilos.
The prime minister who is touring the islands of the Dodecanese set the main dilemma of the elections. "Do we want those that led the country to bankruptcy to govern again or to continue the course towards fair growth and targeted reliefs for the majority of the society?"
"Our plan has a title" said Tsipras, "We will continue together the exit course from the crisis and we will savour the fruit of our efforts. The other plan (he refers to main opposition New Democracy's programme) has another title: Each one for himself".
He noted that SYRIZA government got the country out of the crisis adding that "now we can ask from the citizens to judge, compare and decide where the country will go in the next years".
Tsipras explained that the exit course from the crisis is not granted as the opponents' plan "hides the risk of leading the country to fiscal derailment and send us back to the lenders' hands".
