PM Mitsotakis chairs meeting on government's priorities in sports

A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on issues of sports was held on Wednesday at the Maximos mansion.

Deputy Sports Minister Lefteris Avgenakis in statements after the meeting referred to six main axes that are the government's priority.

He announced the construction of an indoors sports centre for persons with disabilities, the promotion of specific initiatives on amateur sports, the modernisation of existing sports infrastructures in cooperation with the municipalities and the regions and noted that tackling doping, violence and is the government's priority.

Finally, he said that tax initiatives will be offered for the development of the country's sports clubs.
