Hellenic and Cypriot parliaments will work closely for Cyprus solution

There will be constant and close coordination between Greece and Cyprus' parliaments in the common effort for the resolution of the Cyprus issue, Hellenic Parliament President Konstantinos Tasoulas reaffirmed on Friday while addressing the House of Representatives in Nicosia.

"This rallying together is our best weapon in the fight for a fair, viable and also functional solution. A solution that will resolve the problems and not create new ones. The steadfast goal of our efforts, which is obvious now to all the international community, is to restore the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Cyprus with a single international personality and one nationality and without guarantees that take us back to times that are long gone, never to return," Tasoulas noted.
