Alexis Charitsis: iSYRIZA platform's slogan an invitation and a challenge

Main opposition SYRIZA spokesperson Alexis Charistis on Friday said the slogan on the party's new iSYRIZA digital platform, urging visitors to "Take SYRIZA in your hands", was both an invitation and a challenge.

Speaking to the news website dailyathens.gr, Charitsis said that this was the first time that a party in Greece was making a mass overture to the citizens in a way that was so different to the traditional views on politics.

He commented that in the first 100 days of New Democracy's government, "its neoliberal, antisocial and antidemocratic profile has been clearly demonstrated," through a "series of attacks against workers' rights and initiatives supporting the few and powerful."
